Individual Therapy
Many people come to therapy carrying things they haven’t shared with anyone else.
Not because they don’t have people who care about them, but because they’re worried about being a burden, taking up too much space, or adding one more thing to someone else’s plate.
You don’t have to protect the people you love from your experience here.
You don’t have to minimize it, explain it away, or carry it by yourself.
Therapy offers permission to show up as you are.
The parts of yourself you love. The parts you’re uncomfortable with. The parts you’re still trying to understand. Even the parts you may not be aware of yet.
Together, we’ll create space to get to know the parts that are ready to be known while honoring and respecting the parts that prefer more distance.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. And you don’t have to like every part of yourself to begin.
There’s room for all of it here.
And that’s where we’ll begin.

Approach to Individual Therapy
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or problems, I strive to understand you within the context of your life. Your experiences, relationships, family history, culture, values, and environment have all played a role in shaping who you are and how you move through the world.
Together, we’ll explore your story with curiosity and compassion. We’ll work to understand the different parts of yourself, how they developed, what they may be trying to protect, and how they influence your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and day-to-day experiences.
My goal isn’t to judge or pathologize your experiences. It’s to help you make sense of them. As we develop a deeper understanding of your patterns, strengths, and challenges, we can begin identifying new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
My work is informed by attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Narrative Therapy, Bowenian Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR. I draw from these approaches thoughtfully and collaboratively, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.
